Shared albums cap at 100 contributors per album and require everyone on iOS or Android with the right Apple/Google account. Mixed-platform weddings fall apart on day one. Festoso has no contributor cap, no platform lock, no account requirement for guests, plus a live TV feed, organizer dashboard, retention controls, and bulk download. Different product.
Two layers. AI moderation (free on Event Plus, $5 on Event/Pro) catches NSFW and violent content via AWS Rekognition before it hits the wall. And the organizer can multi-select-delete anything in two taps from the dashboard. We default to the AI filter being on for venues — for chill house parties, you can turn it off.
No. Photos are stored encrypted on AWS S3, scoped to your event, and deleted on the retention schedule you set. We don't license your data to anyone, ever. The AI moderation feature runs over your photos to flag content; it doesn't keep them and isn't training anything. Full policy in our privacy page.
We email you 14 days before the deletion clock runs out. You can bulk-download the whole event in one zip, or pay $10 to extend retention another 90 days (so 180 total). After deletion we keep nothing — no thumbnails, no backups, no "in case you change your mind" purgatory. Gone is gone.
Yes. We ship native apps for both iPhone (App Store) and Android (Google Play) on day one. Weddings are always mixed-platform; we'd be useless otherwise.
Yes — on both iPhone and Android. Clips up to 30 seconds at launch, streamed-upload so longer videos don't crash your phone. The in-capture editor is photo-only for now; videos upload raw.
Full refund before your event start time — just email refunds@festoso.app. After the event has started we can't refund the event SKU, but we'll work with you if something genuinely went wrong on our end.
